New Year's Eve at Home

When you are staying home for New Year's Eve (which we always do), then it is fun to try and make it a
little bit special.

I started early in the day, setting the table with my new tablecloth, napkins, my "good" china and even my best flatware!  This is about as "fancy" as it gets in our home.

The table is finished, ready for our first toast!

My husband cooked...

and I got "dolled' up and took the photographs!

It was a nice evening at home!

Hope you had a simple and happy New Year's Eve also!

Jane

The hubbie and I stayed home too. My hubbie was in bed by 9:00. I did stay up and watch the ball drop.
Your table is gorgeous!

Jane, how festive and elegent your condo looks, as do you!

We also spent a quiet night at home and are celebrating the holiday today. The dining room table is set with the china, the silver and crystal. The fire is blazing and the champagne is chilling.

Happy New Year with love!

Jane your table was beautiful and the food too. One of my favorite things is shrimp and pasta. We did the same. Stayed in had lasagna and salad and watch Ryan Seacrest!! It was nice, but I did not take picture one! I'm still so out of it. LOL, Happy New Year.
